YSL- Yves Saint Laurent

one of the influential french fashion designer in the 20th century. In the age of 21, he became the head of the house of Christian Dior. Nevertheless,..tonight...I decided to put aside his fashion talent, but to focus on his private precious art collections that were sold/ to be sold these days in Paris.

Top- right: " Musical Instrument on a Table " - a cubist Picasso. I still remember my friend told me - the pioneer of cubism were Pable Picasso and Georges Braque, sometimes their paintings are difficult to distinguish due to its similarity. The paintings inspired by moments of music and literature, and all of them are in broken form. This kind of artwork played an important role in influencing European paintings and sculpture, and later in architecture.


The cubist artworks in Moma, NY..I had the great honour to see them last year.and it's the start I learnt about Picasso.

Ondine

Occasionally, I wish to have some moment which is standing still..and keeping my mind as peaceful and calm as possible. I truely enbrace this flashy but tranquil time when listening to Liszt- Consolation no.2-3.I am moved by these pieces. The live one of No.3 by pianist Sergio Tiempo tonight was a gift and surprise, I even haven't got to know this piece when I was at the box office. Just remember that I came here for Ravel- Ondine at the very beginning. I started to realise Ravel's pieces are not always making you sleepy, when Ondine came to me, my perception had been changed. It's kind of difference from other pieces, the uniqueness is sort of overwhelming, that is totally unforgettable.

On the way home, I was not feeling very well. Maybe some mixed-feeling after the earthquake- working - week. There're still lots of uncertainities here, although I am considered to be the lucky one will not be affected, maybe just slightly, in a good way, though.. who knows, still have to get prepared anytime no matter how stable your position is. My fellow co-workers maybe get used to the comfortable and " hea " life, I can see some of them don't know how to react towards the changes. I am feeling sorry and sad to them, they don't have any emergency plan or even think of this day will come somedays. Best wishes to them.

On the other side,randomly thinking of the relationship with family, friends...and.... I would like to share more time to be with them..from the book I read recently, it's counted as perfect moments. The author devoted lots of time to his work, and barely spent time with his family and friends...when he was dying, he finally found that he missed lots of perfect moments with his beloved one. This is one of the lesson I learnt from this book.

Time flies, Eliminate the time between the idea and the act is the best to avoid regrets.

The art of sharing...

A saying from a buddy of mine, read as:

"Sharing knowledge is different from sharing an apple. If you share an apple, it would be halved; if you share knowledge, it would be doubled."

It triggered an analogy I still remembered when I a school child:

"Sharing happiness is different from sadness. If you share sadness, it would be halved; if you share happiness, it would be doubled."

In this sense, if sharing an apple is a way of sharing happiness, then when an apple is shared, happiness is doubled, too.

Some of us loves their another half. They share their lifetime with each other. They share their stories, experience, thoughts, happiness and tears, and most of all, love.

If we share love, love is doubled. The one you love, shall love you too.

We live in group so we share our life with one another. Life is full of happiness and sadness. As time goes by, as we share life, we shall be full of happiness, while all sadness gone.

A beautiful weekend..

Here is somewhere far away from my home. The bridge you can see on the photo is the Tsing Ma Bridge that is the major transport route to Hong Kong Airport. When you arrive to HK, you would probably see this view from a bus. Everytime, back to HK from another city, I feel glad to be here again, as the view is really charming! I fond of the quiet place, I love to take my book, carema, photato chips, i-pod..and enjoy the silence that make me feel relaxed.

Nothing worse than when I find that I couldn't come here this month.
When will I be back? When will the financial crisis be fade out?
Lots of uncertainties, but I will find my way. Adversity makes someone strong.
